SATURDAY EVENT
Date / Description:
This competition is open for up to ten (10) participants creating their work of art using any form of BodyPainting (i.e. airbrush, hand painting, finger painting, henna, tattoos, etc.). We will not have a prize for each specific Bodypainting category. Instead, we will have to judge all participants as one category for an overall winner.GRAND PRIZE: $250 Cash (Must have at least 5 registrants).
Site:
Each artist will be assigned a specific 5 X 10 area (Once the competition has started both artist and talent(s) are not allowed to leave their assigned areas until they finish to paint, or else they will be disqualified.) Only the registered artists and talents are allowed in their assigned space at any given time.
Equipment:
Artists are responsible to bring all necessary equipments including props, chairs, compressors (airbrush), brush, paint, power strips, extension cords, etc... We will provide ample power source for electricity for those who need it. Theme:
Erotic in nature. Sensual Nude. No depictions of actual Sexual Acts allowed. Participants that do not adhere to this guidelines risk disqualification and/or exclusion from the event.
Eligibility:
You must register to participate. One participant and up to two models are allowed per entry. The contest is open to individual adults (18 and older).
Talents:
All models must be at least 18 years of age to participate. The artists are responsible to provide their own talents or models. However, ARTundressed will send out a "CALL FOR MODELS" and allowed models to register as volunteers for the bodyPainting event. Their pictures and profiles will be posted on the site and we will allow the artist to contact them via undisclosed emails. Entry Deadline:
Applications must be received by November 10, 2009 to participate for this event. Only ten (10) spots are available and it's on a first-come first-serve basis, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot in the ARTundressed BodyPainting contest.
Registration Fee:
There is no registration fee. Participants will receive complimentary (free) admission for themselves and up to 2 models per participant.
Check-In:
All participants must check in at the Registration Desk/Booth upon arrival at the Exhibition. Check-in for contest participants starts at 4pm and closes at 6pm. Give yourself plenty of time to set-up so that you can have as much time as possible for the actual Bodypainting process. You are allowed to start painting before we open the Exhibition (anytime after Noon).
Judging:
All artists will be required to finish their work by 8:00pm and the judging will occur right after for a winner's announcement at 10:00pm. Each work of art will be judged according to the ARTundressed C.O.D.E. = Creativity; Originality; Depth in Design; Eroticism Level. Quality and appropriateness of form will be taken into consideration. Judges decisions are final. Participants risk disqualification if they do not adhere to all competition guidelines. Awards:
1st place - $250 Cash Prize
2nd place - $100 Cash Prize
3rd place - $50 Cash Prize
Plus, the 1st place winner will be allowed to sell prints of the winning artwork in our 2009 ARTundressed Exhibition Tour.
